The Higher Ed Web Conference, “a conference for higher education Web professionals, is perfect for all team members who want to explore unique Web issues facing colleges and universities”, is now taking place in Springfield, MO.

With a keynote by @veen who had nice things to say about his sign language interpreter, and the geek quotient at a conference like this, it’s no wonder this hashtag has remained atop the trending topics for a good portion of the day.

And in what may go down as Twitter’s Woodstock moment, apparently the cold going around #heweb08 is very responsive to DayQuil

    The High Ed Web conference continues through Wednesday, and will feature a second keynote speaker, Kyle Ford, product manager for Ning.com.
