#SoCap08

Taking place this week in San Francisco, the Social Capital Markets 2008 Conference brings together “social entrepreneurs and investors from around the world.”  From the site:

“‘Doing well by doing good’ is becoming the mantra of a new generation of social entrepreneurs and investors. At the Social Capital Markets Conference 2008 we will bring together these catalytic changemakers – the entrepreneurs who want to change the world and the capital that wants to make it happen.”

Follow along at the BetterWorld Blog, or at Epic Change. I’ve set up an addictomatic page to try to gather some bits about this conference all in one place.

One of the particularly interesting things in use at this conference is a “connection concierge” which allows you to filter and search through conference participant bios and contact them via text or e-mail.

Find out what others are saying about the SoCap08 Conference on Twitter.

(For the record, I am completely jealous of the attendees of this conference, it looks amazing! I’m looking forward to seeing what comes out of it.)
