This one here is a fun one and doesn’t take a lot of explanation, which is good because I’m exhausted. If you had Twitter in 1998, what would you be tweeting about? I’m loving (but not totally understanding) all of the international participation.

To call xkcd a “webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language” is a bit of an understatement. Incredibly popular amongst the geekier internet crowd (myself included!), xkcd is equal parts Garfield and Stephen Hawking with a bit of The New Yorker and some stick figures thrown in. Do yourself a favor and cruise through the archives. And maybe buy a shirt.

So what does this all have to do with a popular advertising campaign for shaving cream?

Today’s xkcd concerns itself with a bit of rhyming on Twitter. And the twitterverse has responded. In a huge way.
